Here are the measurements:  PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING!  THIS IS NOT a size 40 belt!  The total length of the belt (not including the buckle) is right at 40".  The wider part of the belt is approximately 1.25".  The taper skinnier of the belt is .75".  The sizing holes start at 32.5" from the front of the belt without the buckle and end at 35.5".
